Composition
The Advisory Council for the Magistracy consists of two colleges, one Dutch-speaking and one French-speaking. Each college is composed of 22 members so the ACM has a total of 44 members.
Each college represents the courts, tribunals, public prosecutor's offices and labour prosecutor's offices in the country.
The members of the ACM are elected for a period of four years.
Each college has a president, and each president is president of the ACM for two years. Each college also has a vice-president and a secretary. Together they form the office of the ACM.
